I have to remove a scope that mounted in a Conetrol "Custum" setup and both the "cone" set screws that hold the ring to the base are stripped, the Allen wrench just spins.

Any tips to remove them other then drilling? If i can get one out that should loosen the mount enough to remove the other.

try one of the "torx" bits, even if you have to tap it in with a hammer, its better than drilling,,, the "torx" has sharper edges and might bite better....
