I bought a Lee Enfield fro an AR member a while back. The rifle is chambered in 7.62 Nato.

I have been firing factory .308 loads without incident. A few months back at the range I was firing Winchester factory ammo when I sensed a little different feel to the shot as it was fired. I was surprised to discover the case had separated just forward of the base and my extractor pulled out the the base only. The remainder of the brass was stuck in the chamber. I dropped it off with a gunsmith to remove the brass.

I got a call this morning. The brass is removed but the bullet is stuck in the barrel just forward of the chamber.

I'm glad the brass stuck preventing me from chambering another round!
