I'm looking to buy a set of Quick Detach rings for a Finnbear L61R. Warne builds a set for the model 75 and that's it. My question is, are the model 75 mounts the same as the Finnbear mounts? I fired off this question to the folks at Warne and they don't know the answer either, but do offer a full refund(minus shipping costs I'm sure) if they don't work. Anyone here have the answer before end up paying for shipping both ways?

I have a set on my L61R wiith no problem. Its an early 70s 30-06 Garcia.

I have a optilock set on my L579 and they are made for the 75 rifles and if memory serves the L61R has the same mounts as L579!

Yes, the Sako dovetails for all actions starting with the L46 and L57, through the L461, 579, 61R, then continuing with the A-series, S-series, TRGs, and now Model 75 are all the same.

I checked mine last night...they are two piece TALLEYs. You install an adapter base that takes standard Talley rings. Its not particularly noticable at all. They show one part # for Sako I, II, and III and another for IV and V.
