I'm playing around with a mauser semi finished sporter. It had a rollover cheek piece.

Cut the rollover off and shaped the cheek piece. It drops about 1.5".

If you are going to use this stock with a scope it will have too much drop. Iron sight will be about the right height. What is the purpose for the stock?

A yugo 8mm or if I ever get my vise set up a 19" 7mm mauser.
