Having never used a pre fit, going through the Brownells catalog, I see pre fit pads for the Ruger mk.11 wood stock... My question is will this pad fit the new Ruger Hawkeye African, has anyone tried it..It seems to me it should fit as they probably use the same stylist machine for all stocks but who knows..Brownells does not know btw.. Ray, I can't say about the pre-fit ones. I did acquire a Ruger African and it already had a recoil pad installed. Are you changing the pad on an almost new rifle?
