No fancy checkering or engraving but she has a charm all her own that she has earned by surving 200+ years. The Pan, Frizzen, Frizzen Spring and Cock are new. Everything else is original.

SXS Double Barrel Flintlock 24 ga Fowler.

And she still works too. With very light loads of course.

The rifle is mine, the photos are not.

Tiggertate, I looked at that A&M rifle at the Hamburg PA Cabelas, wonderful engraving and casehardening colors on the action. Thought of buying it but hesitated too long !!

22WRF: Roger Kehr did the bolt. Jim Dubell of Delta Gun Shop did the rest of the metal work. He made the Scope bases which had to be extra wide in order to hide some issues. Jim also made a new strattle floor plate and added a hinge and fitted it to the military milled bottom metal. Modified the shape of the trigger guard bow and added the floor plate release internal to the bow. Chic picked out the wood and is crafting the stock.
