What barrel nut wrench does this model in 22-250 require? The 110 series barrel nut wrench? I don't have the rifle in hand yet to see the barrel nut.

I thought all the barrel nuts were the same on the Savage bolt guns, model 10 - 116. But you probably shouldn't put much weight in my response cause I am probably nuts too.

You are probably going to have to wait and see it. It is a small shank, but it could be a smooth barrel nut. That takes a spanner rather than the standard wrench.
