I have been selling off most of my tools and stuff, except for my stock hand tools.

Some of you may have seen the reloader which I made some 20 years ago. ForestB took a good picture and posted them with the meeting we had in Porter, TX. about 2 years ago.

If anyone would like to make their own reloading tool or engraving sharpening tool I will part which my tooling for these projects. Contact me with a PM.

It comes to a time when one has to quit working. I hope that some of the info that I have passed on will help some of you become better gunsmiths.

Les Brooks, 51 years of great fun working on projects which I enjoyed.

Les,
I wish you good fortune in your retirement and to let you know that many of us will miss your contributions to the gunmakers art in the form of beautiful rifles. I can only wish that I had had 1/10 of your skill. Your info was valued more than you know by all of us.

Les,

Have a great retirement, and enjoy life.
IIRC, you had a picture you posted here of a single shot rifle with a beautiful stock you made. Was that a Martini actioned rifle? Reason I as is that I have a Martini Cadet action with a barrel fitted in 218 BEE, and would love having a stock made exactly like the one you built. Could you post that picture again? I would be indebted to you if you could do that.

Thank you,

Don
