Hi - Trying to remove the rear iron site base from a CZ455 FS. Once the two base screws are removed, it still won't budge. It doesn't appear to be dovetailed in. Anyone have experience/suggestions? I tried tapping it with wooden mallet but no go. What's the secret?

Just a guess, but more than likely heat will be your best route. Sounds as though solder or a form of epoxy or Loctite was used.

Luck,

Stephen

Thanks for the input. I used a heat gun and sure enough, the base was glued on.

Thanks All!!
