For those of you familiar with both of these. Whats the difference in them. Is one better than the other? NRA Patron member

I like Bell & Carlson, half the price of HS and just as good or better.

Just goes to show you... I sold a B&C to Sam so I could get an HS. We are both happy. I found the fit of the HS (as a shooter) more comfortable. But I'm built of left-overs anyway.. Both good stocks...that's not much help other than to say see if you can get your hands on one or both. good luck

I like the HS stock better but if you get the B&C with the action bedding block they are also a good stock. The model of B&C without the bedding block will eventually crack at the action screws, especially on a hard kicker. MO....FWIW Dennis Life member NRA

Bell and Carlson makes more varieties of stocks, HS Precision stocks has military contracts so they might have a tougher stock. Buy what you like, bed them with devcon and steel pillars and you should never have a problem. I own an HS Precision, a Manners, a McMillan and a Bell and Carlson. I like them all, but they are all totally different. If you treat them the same with bedding and pillars you will get the same result out of all 4.
