After never getting the extractor I orderd from TGP I've decided to try one of the new ones being offered. I see Midway and Brownells offering two different brands. Which one would you suggest? Hopefully with hands on experience.

As usual just my $.02

It is to replace an extractor on a 243 that is a touch to large and drops the case about 50% of the time.

Paul,
Anyone that is pre-fit for a 308/30-06 boltface should work. I see Brownell's is selling ones made by Gun Runners. Might want to check out the classified's here. I'm sure someone has one sitting around they'd be willing to part with for less money.

Vip,

Thanks I know that any non magnum 98 extractor would work. I have and old M98 that I could put on it but it looks like $hit. Thought I had a new one purchsed from TGP but they never came through. So I thought I would try a new one. just wondered if anyone had used the "gun runner" from Brownells or the "oberndorf" from Midway. All else fails they are on Ebay as well.

Ram,I have used the oberndorf from midway and have been pleased with them.
The uncut is what I get that way they are just right for the rifle that I am working on.
I also have used the ones for the model 95 mauser.
