Kudos to McMillan stocks. See second post.

Have a Sako Medium action in hand, a Bartlein 7mm barrel in the other.

After buying close to ten McMillan stocks, finally got one not up to their price point. Looks like the right side grip didn't fill correctly so they laid a little surface piece on, and drowned the area in the Polane paint they use. Just printed out the RMA form and the shipping label. Hopefully they just take a power checkering tool to the area, then repaint it with a normal thickness.









Should know in a week. Their new Khaki color looks great.

***Follow Up***

McMillan stripped the paint off the stock. Then, their best painter re did the job. It looks awesome now. The checkering is sharp, and the stock stays right in my wife's hand. Will post pictures when the rifle is done.
