rimmed cartridges....
so fellas, what, in your esteemed opinions would be a good caliber choice for a siamese mauser or M95 straight pull? they both fire 8xXX R 's, right? i thought i heard of a .444 on a siamese... but i could be wrong.

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

Most folks go with the 45-70 in a Siamese but I guess a 444 would work as well, just fewer bullets on the heavy side.

Rebarrel the M-95 into anything baised on the 7.62x54R case, either factory of wildcat.
Just remember that the M-95 uses a "enbloc" clip, and that without the clip it's nothing but a single shot.

I've seen Siams in all these calibers, 45-70 being the most common.
