I have run into some difficulties installing my Jewell trigger on my new Win. 70 Stealth. The hole in the action do not match up w/ those on the trigger. Has anyone experienced this problem? have you taken material off of the action or the trigger to make it fit?

I have not worked with a Jewell trigger, but have you tried contacting Jewell directly.
You may have the wrong trigger; they can swap it for the right one, but not if you 'modify' it.

How much did that trigger cost?

All the Jewells I have had fitted to Model 70s I got a gunsmith to do them.

They are not as straight forward as for Rem 700 action and some alteration is required.
