Ruger lists the safety selector (Ruger part j03800) as a factory only installed part.

Anybody know where I can get one without shipping it to Ruger? I really don't want the hassle with the border for a part that is easily installed to factory specs.

Brownells doesn't have them, since Ruger won't sell them individually.

Anybody now where to get this part? I'd prefer a stainless but I'd take a blue one.

Thanks Chic

They don't have them. The problem is that Ruger doesn't make them available to the general public, they want you to send the rifle to them, which is a pain in the butt for me...

There's aftermarket safeties for everything else, it seems...

Anybody have any other ideas? Maybe there is a gun "wrecker" somewhere?

Think it is Jack First, a supplier of gun parts. I obained a tang safety and safety wire last year for the older M77.

Someone chime in with the full name and address? I am not in the shop now, will look tomorrow.
