well I know about weaver, but are there any others out there? I want a screw down base not one of those pressure set screw deals.

I used a Pachmayr Lo-Swing on my Norwegian Krag, and mounted the scope central over-bore. Ejection was still OK, but might not be on a U.S. Krag. Does Williams Gunsight Corp. still make a side mount base for the Krag? I used Williams side mounts on two Mannlicher Schoenauers, and these never changed zero after the initial sighting-in. A vwery sturdy scope mount arrangement indeed!

If they do I can't find anyone that has them.
I guess I'll stick to weaver or maybe make one at work.
