Thanks 500gr. I thought so. To bad, I reciently picked up a few and after getting into the action a bit I really like what I am seeing. Given the price it's a good starting point for a build.

The Klintoon admin essentially killed Interarms with restrictions of imports on the Yugoslavia goods. (Zastava mausers)

The reintroduction of this product was heavily sought by Brownells as the sole supplier of Mauser actions.....their loosing the contract as importers is a serious loss to us as they would have commanded a $100 more for the product and set quality standards for the product at a value $300 better than CD. Brownells would also have stood behind the product as well.

Interarms didn't do a bad job of importing the Zastava actions and we all lost in this move.....even Zastava is not faring as well as they could have.

John,
interarms, for mausers, is gone. The charles daly is the "same" action from the "same" machines, in the "same" plant, but I hear they AINT the same.

at one point (about 12 years ago) the actions were CHEAP.. cartons could be bought for a working man's month's pay

Century is now selling Zastavas in a few calibers (including 375)

Anyone seen one? I'm curious as to just how close of a clone they are to the CDs.

Hey guys,i gotta mint condition whitworth express rifle in 7mm magnum on a trade unfired.I shot it 7times to site the iron express sights in dead on at 75yrds.Its a tack driver with pmc 160gr.sierras.how much is this rifle worth and what other caliber could be built on this action?I have other 7mags and could part with this one.it could be for sale but i dont know the value.Will it ever be a collecter in the future or allways just a shooter?Wonder how many 7mags were built?

IIRC the Whitworth is a l o n g action and can handle the .375 H&H and that makes it a very desiriable action. Quality was generally good and it should move easily....however as a project gun more than a 7MM Mag.

Find a blue book of gun prices and list it in the classifieds.....I doubt it'll last long.
