I am looking or a way to extend the magazine box on my Rem. 700 Classic in .350 Rem. I have been looking at the extended magazine boxes sold by Wyattt's Outdoors - does anyone here have experience with them? What is involved with installing them? Are there other manufacturers of extended magazine boxes? I think if I could get to an OAL of about 2.90" that I would have the ogive outside the case mouth for most bullets. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I used a Wyatt box in my .308. I first tried the box with the centerfeed option, but my smith had problems with that. We went to an extended box with "staggered feed", and that could be made to work fine with a bit of fine tuning of the rails. - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... Don't bother with the Wyatt's boxes. Have the original box lenghtened a bit and modify the feed ramp to fit. Simple tig weld and mill job. Jim Kobe 10841 Oxborough Ave So Bloomington MN 55437 952.884.6031 Professional member American Custom Gunmakers Guild
