My SS left handed short action is at my gun dealers right now sitting through the waiting period. It was shipped without the bottom metal and so far my emails and phone messages have been ignored when I asked them when the bottom metal will come.

What is the serial number? Mine's CL03-0085, a stainless, LA magnum. How far ahead of me are you? I just sent Dan an email yesterday telling him to hold onto it until I get a physical address in Nevada. I am in Virginia right now but am heading back to Fernley on Saturday, the 18th. A person must have a physical address within Nevada on his driver's license to buy a gun; no other form of ID is required and no waiting periods apply. He may also buy more than one handgun in any 30-day period without having to get a waiver from the State Police like we do here in Virginia.

Congratulations, Lewis50, on soon getting yours. When did you order it? I ordered mine April 23, 2003 and my credit card was charged the next day. It is soon to be 17 months I have been waiting. Knowing you've gotten yours makes it easier now.

Mine is Crome Moly with a personalized serial number, my birthdate. I ordered within the top fifty or so, I sure hope the bottom metal is part of the package. I spoke with my gunsmith today and he hadn't recieved it but will call when it comes in, then let the games begin.

I talked with MRC today and they told me that the bottom metal was supposed to be in last Friday, then Monday and now they were expecting it today.

...I'm going to ever so furious if that action shows up as part of a CZ American

The CZs have their own numbering sequence.
