Talley has 'em, at half the price of the NECG stuff.

they are not that hard to make, if you can access a mill and lathe. My gunsmith is teaching me how to make them, and barrel band front sights this week.
That said, I can see why they cost more than a sack of donuts and a thermos of Starbucks (what I paid for mine).

Thanks guys, just what I'm after, if I need a band .802" to .805" would I get the .790" band (next one up is .810")and ream it out too get the taper, like would there be enough meat on the walls of the band, thanks again....

The Talley is .03 thick. So .79+.03=.82-.805=.015. Plenty thick. The band is sweated on. They make a half band that is only sweated on and it works fine.

I know the NECG and Gentry cost a little more but I prefer their curved lines.
