Bushing a firing pin hole

What is the procedure you use?

How deep do you drill, completely through into the firing pin cavity, or is it a blind hole?

What diameter do you drill the new hole to and is it reamed, honed or just drilled?

Is it a hat bushing or just a regular bushing, and is the face of the bushing cut down until it is flush with the bolt face or do you go (how many thousands deeper) till it just cleans it?

What are the benefits of it other than not having much of an area for the primer to flow into on what may seem hot loads but really aren't due to manufactures hardness of the primers giving false pressure signs?

What are the diameters of the three common sizes of bolt faces ie. .375 is actually (example) .385??? for some clearance, .473 is actually .XXX and .532 is actually .XXX

Any other pertinent info that would be or should be adhered to?

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

If the bolt face is good, get an oversize pin from Hollands- alot easier.
