How hard are they on my rifle? Some tell me they are hard on the barrel but some tell me don't worry about it and shoot them.
My opinion is that they cant be good. What is the verdicict from you gunsmiths? I like the price of the Wolfs but I don't want to wear out my rifle prematurly either!

I've shot steel cases in my ARs. They work fine. The concern with Wolf ammo is that the lacquer that protects the cases from rusting will melt and coat the chamber, which may cause chambering problems in bolt guns. I don't shoot much Wolf-- I don't care for the smell you get when you fire it.

Thank you sir. I have been watching for scaring or galling and so far have seen no problems, but always worry to much about such things.
