I'm concerned that if I find a deal on a short action push feed M-70 in .243 or .308 that the difference in body taper of the .22-250 will cause feeding trouble. Ant experience with this? /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." If memory serves, 22-250, 243 and 308 all take the same mag box and follower. So it should work. I have no idea how well they used to feed originally. When I was a kid. I had the stick. I had the rock. And I had the mud puddle. I am as adept with them today, as I was back then. Lets see today's kids say that about their IPods, IPads and XBoxes in 45 years! Rod Henrickson

Right; Don't worry it will work and even if you have issues, all feeding on those is controlled by the sheet metal mag box, the receivers are the same. So you can bend them to hell and back to control feeding. Anyway, go for it.
