This might be a little OT, but I have a good friend who desperately want a original laminated stock on his Ruger M77 MK II in 7 mm Rem mag.
As now he has the old synth stock aka "the paddle".
The main importer here in Norway cant help, and requests to Ruger has been fruitless.

Are those stocks sold sans action / barrel, or is this search a loosing battle ??

Look at Brownell's (www.brownells.com), I think they sell most Ruger spare parts. The problem might be to have it shipped out of the US, because it is considered a gunpart and costs over 100 US$. You just might have a friend bring it over there.

I once got one from the German Ruger distributor, Frankonia . They must have had it in stock, as they shipped it very fast. Maybe this way you can avoid the hassle with American export regulations.
