Has anyone heard of a gunsmith named E.A. Nickerson? I did a quick google search and found nothing, so I'm hoping someone here might know of him.
A few years back I bought a customized mauser in 257 Clipper, a wildcat that for all intent and pourposes, appears identicle to the 40 AI Roberts. What is most interesting about the rifle is that the trigger appears to be a home made job looking much like a Timney. The rest of the gun is a customized commercial FN action with first rate work and a deep rich bluing.
