Does anybody know if a NEF action can handle the pressure of say a 270 WBY.

It's NOT a question of chamber pressure-- but of thrust delivered to the action. If NEF's are chambered in belted cases I dunno. The belted head delivers much more thrust to an action than a 06 head size case.

I have kinda wondered if the H&R/NEF action would handle the 220 Swift, like rechambering one of their 222 or.223 actions.I belive you can get a 23" barrel.
