Does anyone know the thread specs on the little grub screw that holds the k98 front sight onto the barrel?

I know it is 3 mm but the pitch eludes me. Perhaps .5 or .3.

I just redrill & tap to 8-32 or 8-36. You can get that size hex head set screw anywhere.

I tried a standard M3 grub screw and it fits.
Standard M3 is a 0.5 pitch.
