I just visited with Ted in his shop about 4 days ago, and I can assure you that things are being produced.

1. He is changing his triggers from all steel to high quality aluminum. He had about 20 of them in progress, but alas, none in stock for sale.

2. One of the reasons why you may have noticed that it has taken somewhat longer to receive anything from Ted in the last couple of years is becasue he had a rather large contract with Nosler to make the bottom metal for thier custom Nosler Rifles. I believe he told me it was over 500 pieces. I also believe that another shop has now taken over some of that work on a royalty basis, which will hopefully free up some of Ted's time to make bottom metal for his other noncorporate customers.

By the way, for all of you who know her, I spoke with Maggie for awhile. Although she has had quite a few heath problems in the past, she is doing quite well now, and she looked great.

I was fortunate to watch Ted run one of his bottom metals through his CNC machine. Although he does some cutting and drilling before it goes into the CNC, its quite a heavy piece of steel when it goes in, and it is amazing to compare the weight of it going in with what comes out.

Ted is a good guy. This is the second time I have visited him in his shop, and I have made sure to repay the favor of his company by buying things from him,

The bottom line (answer to your question). Yes, Ted is making product. Get your order in, tell him when you need it (within reason of course, and you will eventually get it.

I think Ted's phone might have recently changed.
He is located in Levan, Utah. You could probably call local phone information for Levan and ask for Blackburn Machine and they could set you up with the number you need.

Otherwise, Levan is a small town. You could write to them. But they have a nice office and a computer so I am sure that you can reach them by internet as well.
