I have made statements on this gunsmithing forum page and nobody knows who I am. I like building rifles, mostly bolt actions. I went to gunsmithing school for two years and had my own store front for five years. Now at the moment I just do stuff for myself. Shop is still being set up and machinery is waiting on electric. I wanted to do something different I'm along ways from finishing but decided to try a lever action as pictured above (hope the picture works.) Inletted action to stock blank and ready to shape outside. This is just a small sample to let you know who I am and what I like to do. Ruger no.1 and some bolt actions to follow. Yes, but in due time. I work as a cnc machinist 14 days out of the month at the moment and at this time i'm resetting up shop and doing what i damn well please. Meaning i want to do some things for myself first and when i think the time is right i'll do for others. I plan mostly to do metalsmithing.

This is a first for me. I don't think I have ever seen a Winchester lever action with a loading port on the left side. What model receiver is that.

Thought id throw this one in also, will have a tapered octogon bbl, in 6.5x55. Detachable scope rings on a quarter rib. The forend has been changed since this pic. was taken and now has an ebony forend tip.

There are fewer and fewer of you craftsman out there. Any thoughts on how to get replacements for you guys in some sort of a pipeline to insure the next generation is as well represented craftsman-wise?
