I know I complain enough, so I thought I'd share a good experience I had recently with a barrel supplier.

After seeing an ad for Bauska Rifle Barrels in the GunList stating 22 to 70 caliber blanks at $50 each I thought I'd give them a shot (no pun intended). I called, spoke to the owner, and verified that they could provide what I was looking for. A nice fellow, seemed to know what he was talking about.

I dropped my order in the mail and 2 weeks later the UPS man delivered two new .50 cal blanks. Great turnaround time!

Today I'm sending off for two more (.375 and 9.3mm)! Of course I have no idea how they'll shoot, but I've since learned that guys like Fred Zeglin have used his barrels, so I'll take my chances...

BTW - Do they offer stainless barrels also?

They didn't happen to have 0.251 bor blanks for that price did they? Say for a 20" barrel? Dot hey have a website?
