For those that saw the first thread on the 404 claw mounts (in which we were discussing ideas on how to do the claws) here is an updated photo.

Chris, that looks rock solid. I'll be doing a very similar set-up on my Satterlee action but with a S&B rail scope.

Is there any chance you could post a photo from the side that would show how high the scope is mounted relative to the comb? Also, how much clearance do you have with the bolt handle?
