Guys I am a proud owner of a Marlin 1985GS. I am interested in putting a scope on it and would like to use stainless rings and bases. I have looked at the Brownells and Leopold catalogs and have had no luck locating stainless scope mounts do you guys have any suggestions?

On mine, I used a Weaver base and Burris Z-rings. Mounted a Weaver V-10 on it. Mounts and rings came from Graf's and Midway.

Was the Weaver base a 63BS by chance? One piece silver finish?

Just curious. That 63BS is the only one that I can find so far.
