First off - Welcome to the game. I hope you gain as much pleasure and enjoyment that I have.

John Holliger is the AR Smith that has been quietly building the AR's that many of the Winners have been shooting. He doesn't advertise, but through word of mouth his outstanding work is becoming more and more well known. It probably doesn't hurt that he won the Civilian Service Rifle Championship shooting one of his own rifles. Here's what others are saying;
Shooters.com thread on Holliger
Post 60999 is my favorite, and BTW, John Scandale on that thread won the Porter Trophy (1000 yd Service Rifle Championship) with a Holliger Rifle.

What's been extra nice is that he charges fair prices and even offers a "budget" package option for shooters starting out that sacrifice little in performance.

Sorry if I sound like a commercial, but I've been that impressed with the guy and his work.
