Punch marks on M70 bolt shrouds. All my M70 Classics have them (at least the blued/walnut ones). But some have one, others have two, and another even has three. I should know, but can someone explain these to me.

It is possible that these marks are the result of being tested on a Rockwell Hardness tester. I quite often see a mark on the underside of Rem bolt handles.
