I am helping a fellow AR Forum member get his fathers 1903A3 that has been sportered back into shooting trim. He is wanting to make a nice rifle out of it and I think it will work great. But the problem is that the exhisting bottom metal is the 03A3 stamped sheet matal. A milled 03 triggerguard would really help it out. Does anyone have one laying around they would be willing to part with for a decent price? He needs the bottom metal with all the guts but if you dont have all the stuff we can probably find the other stuff at Numrich.

Thanks for your help.

Already looked at the Numrich bottom metal. it comes out to $95 shipped with all the guts to it. I was hoping to find him one for considerably less. Thanks for the help.

Apparently you have never been to an El Paso gun show. Very few tables and people asking way too much. Example: $250 for a beat up Turk Mauser that AIM was selling for $39. Pretty par for the course here.

Displaced Texan,

Now that you have the milled botom metal you could always consider sending it to Jim Dubell to have it hinged.

He really dressed this one up. Reasonable too.
