I recently purchased a shotgun that someone tried to blue with out of the bottle cold blue. Of course along with that comes that horrible smell. Is ther any way to get rid of that smell short of having it reblued?

That should dissipate in a while .
Cold blue is atrictly for touch up. Attempts to do large areas usually are poor .Use it for a while then decide if you want to reblue..
