Jordan, Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm gonna opt for a 270 Win right now, several folks have said they think Sauer will offer the 300 WSM soon. I would hope they would then offer the 270 WSM barrel for that action/bolt. Thanks again--Don.

Notice that buying a 270 will prevent you from using a WSM later on. I think that this is something that Euros are fairly familiar with but not the Americans. They aren't made to fit together that way. So buy 270 and buy 243, 9.3x62 or buy 270wsm and then 8x68, 300 win.

D99, I'm not 100% sure about the 202 but my 200 will not interchange 308 class rounds with 30-06 class unless one buys the right bolt for each. The short rounds have 6 lugs and the standard rounds have 9. I found this out the hard way, BTW. Since the 200 and 202 barrels are supposedly interchangeable, I assume it applies to both models unless someone knows otherwise? "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

The 202 has 2 receiver sizes that won't interchange : std. & magnum. Within this limit, any caliber can be swapped*. To go from .308 to .30-06, you will need to switch bbl. and magazine. *in std. calibers, the .243 and .22-250 will also need another bolt because of the short ctgs. André DRSS --------- 3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact. 5 shots are a group.
