The Safety on the early M-670 were a 2 Pos.slideing type much like the Rem 700,instead of the 3 Pos. Wing type of M-70 fame.

I know they changed this to the M-70 type sometime between '71-'73.

What Year did they change the safeties on the M-670 ?

Why did they use the 2 pos on the M-670 then drop it ?
