Can a Savage AccuTrigger be retrofitted to an older model 110?

I think an examination of the receiver would tell immediately. Do you have access to a rifle with one to lay next to one without?

"Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

You need to machine the bottom of the receiver to fit where the safety on the accutrigger meets the old style receiver.

I have my brother's Savage Tactical here at the house and was wondering if it could be done before I took it to the gunsmith. It came out before the AccuTrigger.
