Just bought a 3 screw 357 mag blackhawk with the intition of having it converted to 44 spl.

Quistion is there a good gunmsith in nothern Cal. who could do this or should I send it east to one of the more known smiths in this feild.

Jack Huntington. As I recall he moved to Grass Valley. He does top notch work, but he's tough to get ahold of.
