Well the purported design flaws of the Remington trigger and or safety may well have been overstated by CNBC, but to say the Remington 700 is "the finest and most-trusted bolt action rifle in the world"? Why not just be happy that Remmington improved, and use a new triggersystem in the future. I think the whole indudstry, would be better of, listening to complains, and use the complaints in the process of an ongoing improvement. To be honnest all this denail reminds me of politicans who rather spend billions on coverup, than spending a few thousand on making mistakes right. | |||

Jorgen, The only "ongoing improvement" the anti gun movement would find acceptable would be eliminating firearms as well as the manufacturing of them in this country. The CNBC program was a simplistic, textbook example of how the anti gun ankle biters work. | |||

I find have a hard time trusting either side.
