Added a tripod head to one end and a "electric drill gimbal" to the other end. These gimbals come in a few sizes.

It's no more Rube Goldberg than the image-movement in modern scopes, Rich. I bet it will last longer, too.

Call me and we can redesign for mass production. Eliminate about 90% of parts.
