6.25" is the center-to-center spacing of the action screws for the Sako L461, and Sako AI actions.....and maybe the pre-L461 small action, but not sure.

Can someone help me determine what size action my stock is for? I got it from a friend. He told me it was for a "short action Sako" It is a hand made Frank Wells custom. The action screw holes measure 6 1/4" from center to center. Do I need more information to tell what size action will fit in it?

I am trying to sell it on ebay and got alot of questions as to the exact action that will fit.
