I purchased a Sako 75 Deluxe, with very deep glossy bluing on barrel and action. The rifle is used but excellent condition. I have shot and cleaned rifle two times. Each time I wipe the barrel and action off with Rem Oil, the cotton patch turns brown. It is like I am constantly removing rust from the action and barrel. Is this normal? Are there other oils that would not do this? Recomendations and thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

Every (caustic) blued gun I have has done that. Don't know if rust-bluing behaves the same way.
