Anybody that would spend money to have Remington true an action{I'm not sure they do} with the quality gunsmiths there are around, would be spending his money very unwisely.

I will not argue with your way of thinking. But I must say Remington has a grand custom shop,at the IIion,New York facility.I went to take the tour at the shop, and the work Remington does is amazeing. If you have the money?

Savage has a reputation of being a very accurate rifle.....but there's a reason that there's none of them in my gun cabinet.

Redneck64,
"My pomposity tells you that I am illiterate when it comes down to rifles"? Your misuse and abuse of the English language and your total lack of knowledge on any subject you have posted to on this forum leads me to believe that you are just plain stupid. And yes I did read every one of your posts.

Leadfoot,
In a word,No.
Reading Rednecks posts brought an old quotation to mind,

It is better to remain silent and thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

No Savages here either.

10" group at 5,280 feet.

That is not even .5 moa.

Saying that someone broke the record for accuracy at one mile with a brand of rifle is like saying that someone broke the record for running a mile with a certain brand of shoes. And I love my Savage rifles and pistol.
