I am attempting to detail a couple of projects and John Speed's book on Mausers was mentioned as a good reference for ideas, etc. If anyone has one for sale I am interested in purchasing one...if not please let me know where I might be able to purchase.

Also, do you have other good references for Mauser projects that I should consider? I looking for ideas on how to spec. out a set of Mausers.

Thanks,

jjs:

www.brownells.com should have the Speed book. I would also recommend Ludwig Olson's book. Also available at Brownells.

Terry,

Ideas!!!!

A set of three or four rifles. My goal is to have these rifles similar but matched more closely to their intended duty/use...I still have not determined what the chamberings will be except I am leaning heavily towards a 404 Jeffery and 375 H&H for the DG pair.

I thought purchasing a couple reference books would help out...got any ideas???
