This site is well made, machined out of steel with no makers marks. Adjustable for windage and elevation, with graduations. 3 3/4" Tall, 1" diameter disc, 1/8" aperature.
Does anyone have an idea who made it and for what rifle?

I think all of the Stevens single-shot rifles were drilled & tapped for a tang sight , the hole spacing for the 44 & 44 is 1.485" the rest may be the same as well. Might try posting your question at http://www.assra.com/cgi-bin/yabb/yabb.pl.
