Anybody have a kimber rebarreled? I have a 308 that has never been very accurate, and I have an itch for a mountain rifle. I think I would like to get the M84 rebarreled to 284 win. Any recommendations on who would do a good job?
Thanks,
Dan

There has been some discussion as to weather or not the action is large enough to work with the 284. You might want to call up somebody like pac nor and see what they say. If you do maybe you can find out what the shank leingth and threads are I havent been able to and have one that has been thinking about becoming a varmint gun.

Why not just sell it and get a 7wsm in a Kimber Montana? I would think that you'd be way far ahead money wise... just my 2 cents worth though.
