Can a 300 win. Model 70 be converted to the 375 Ruger without much more than a new barrel? Is the case diameter large enough to cause feeding problems?

let me knock on some wood first.....All you need is a new barrel.....If I was doing my own I'd bet on it!

Beg borrow steal or just buy a box of .375 Ruger and see how they feed in the current gun.

vapdog,

Thanks for the info!!1 I have a donor rifle and want something to take for big Bear and Cape Buffalo. If Ruger comes out with the 416 on their case I will make it a 416. I had toyed with the idea of a 416 Taylor but like the Ruger case better.
