Locking up the bull gear on a Taiwanese lathe

Guess this question would be specifically for Spearchucker30x378. How do you lock up the bull gear on your Liang Dei ? Manual doesn't mention it. The spring loaded knurled pin should go in and stay, but it won't work for me. Logic says it should turn and lock, but it won't. Thanks.

My pin is spring loaded and has a cross pin; turn it 90 degrees and it stays out; rotate again and it falls into the slot and locks the gears together.

Thanks gentlemen, that is the correct answer. Pretty tight for fingers in there, but I did locate the hole. Smiler
